I grew up in Ann Arbor and am living in Miami now, married with one daughter. I went to Vanderbilt for undergrad and learned a great respect for southern living. I have a computer consulting business that caters to small professional firms (law and accounting) and medium-sized non-profit companies. I’m kind of a political junkie and technophile, so I thought I’d write about those things.

Excellent blog, Mark! I am putting you on my “Favorites”… I love to see topics that are so well thought-out and affected very minimally by the political climate. Perhaps if the powers that be look at this, they can also de-politicize some of these issues that require logic and common sense.
You’re right about nuclear power, but I’d also like to see more energy-efficient cars on our roads, made by Detroit. They do need reorganizing, but they also need vision and some regulation. I’ll be back again soon!
